ABOUT

Born in Switzerland, Lola Moser studied fiction film directing at the MetFilm School (London), New York Film Academy (NY), and documentary filming at ESEC (Paris), grounding her practice in the study of light and visual storytelling. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in the Young International Art Fair in Paris and continues to resonate in Europe and in the United States. She has developed international projects at the intersection of contemporary art, photography, film, and fashion , collaborating with renowned luxury houses such as Hermès, Chanel, Brunello Cucinelli, as well as  institutions including the Michelangelo Foundation, and the Direction de la culture d’Aix-en-Provence.

A photographer, filmmaker and contemporary artist based in Paris, her work is defined by strong and timeless images that seek to go beyond what is shown – capturing the emotion of a subject or the fleeting intensity of a moment. Lola Moser creates fine art photography that seeks the details in the patterns of nature, whether they are the veins of a flower, the waves of a lake, in the curves of a horse. Deeply inspired by nature, her greatest teacher, she captures images that reveal emotion beyond appearances — moments where strength and fragility coexist.

Guided by texture, light, and composition, she “paints with reality” to reproduce the hypnotic forms of everyday life. Moving fluidly between analog and digital, she uses the “materiality” of photography to preserve their essence. Just as important as the act of taking a picture is the craftsmanship that follows: the careful editing, the subtle calibration of contrasts and colors, and the material choices of paper, print, and format, which makes every piece beautiful and unique. Lola Moser treats books and prints as artworks in their own right — objects shaped with precision and care, where every detail contributes to their beauty and permanence.
